    Santa Claus is coming to Barnes & Noble at Georgia College to celebrate Downtown Milledgeville First Friday! Kids of all ages are invited to take selfies with Santa and enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate.   While you’re in the store, get some holiday shopping done. Barnes & Noble at Georgia College is participating in Buy One Give One; for each children’s book sold in December, B&N will donate a book to local charities.

  • Kitchen Academy Cooking Class13 November 2019, 7:59 am
    Having friends over?  Learn how to wow them at the first Kitchen Academy cooking class hosted by Dining Services.   Participants will learn to cook pasta to perfection, modify a recipe, and make sauce and salad dressing from scratch.  In addition to hosting and etiquette tips, the class will go through the steps for preparing pasta in a béchamel sauce and making a fresh salad with strawberries and a dark chocolate vinaigrette.  The Kitchen Academy will be Thursday, November 21, 7-9 p.m. at The MAX.

    In conjunction with the GC Well-being committee, the department of Public Safety is hosting a Self-defense Class Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Donahoo Lounge at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The class will only last one hour and will help to instill confidence in fending off a personal attack and learning how not to be an easy target.
